Oil seals

OSN seals are designed to prevent the leakage of lubricants and the entry of contaminants into mechanical systems. They are essential in engines, transmissions and industrial machinery. In addition, our seals feature high wear resistance, excellent sealing capability and are available in a variety of materials such as NBR, FKM, VMQ, ACM, EPDM, CR and PTFE. Moreover, they can comply with certifications such as FDA, NSF, WRAS or UL, among others, ensuring their suitability for applications in the food, pharmaceutical and other regulated industries. It should be noted that we know all types of existing seals and we have more than 260 different profiles in stock, among which we can also find the blind seals or end caps. We include a wide range of stainless steel springs for seals in contact with fluids that require the use of this material.

O-rings

O-rings are circular rings with a round cross-section, used for sealing mainly in hydraulic and pneumatic applications but also in all kinds of processes. Their versatility, combined with materials that resist high temperatures and chemicals, makes them indispensable in many industries. OSN offers O-Rings in multiple dimensions and materials such as NBR, FKM, FFKM, VMQ, EPDM, HNBR, CR, ACM, IIR, PU and PTFE. In addition, these seals can also comply with certifications such as FDA, NSF, WRAS or UL, and other international standards, guaranteeing their safety and efficiency in critical applications. Finally, we complete our offer with a wide range of encapsulated O-rings and we offer the option of immediate delivery of vulcanised O-rings.

V-Rings

V-rings or v-seals are flexible axial seals that generally protect bearings from dust and splash ingress. Commonly used in electric motors and pumps, these rings are easy to install and compatible with high speeds. They are available in materials such as NBR and FKM, but can also be manufactured in VMQ, CR or any other material required by the customer. In addition, our range of dimensions (for shafts from 3 to 2000 mm) and types (VA, VS, VL, VE, VAX...) is the widest on the market and can comply with specific certifications according to the requirements of the application.

Axial seals

Axial seals perform the same function as v-rings but have a metal housing for increased rigidity and improved dust protection. These seals are characterised by their high sealing capacity and friction resistance, and are available in NBR and FKM, as well as in other materials or according to customised designs to meet specific requirements. In particular, our RE and RE-1 types ensure their effectiveness under various operating conditions and can comply with certifications such as FDA and UL, among others.

Quadrings

Also known as x-rings, quadrings have an X-shape that improves sealing ability compared to conventional O-rings. They are ideal for high-pressure systems and dynamic applications, which means they reduce the risk of torsion and have a longer service life. Manufactured in materials such as NBR or FKM, they can be customised among other elastomers, as well as obtaining special certifications.

Toric thread

O-ring thread is a thread-like sealing material that can be cut to size to form customised O-rings. It is therefore especially useful for on-site repairs and specific applications where a quick and economical solution is required. Available in a variety of materials such as NBR, VMQ, EPDM or FKM, OSN's O-ring thread can meet FDA and NSF certifications, offering flexibility and convenience in use. Extruded Profiles

Manufactured by extrusion of elastomeric materials, OSN extruded profiles are used in doors, windows and industrial containers. These profiles can be customised to customer requirements, providing excellent sealing against air and water, as well as being durable and resistant to ageing.

Mirror seals

Mirror seals are specifically designed for rotating applications in extremely demanding environments, where they withstand severe wear and prevent the ingress of abrasive and aggressive external media. Mirror seals combine a lip seal and a sealing mirror to provide increased sealing efficiency. Used primarily in heavy machinery, these seals therefore reduce friction and wear, providing superior durability and longer component life.

Mechanical Seals
